Offseason logomark
01 · Palette

The colors.

Salmon sits against navy on cream. Salmon carries energy and moments; navy carries trust and substance; cream gives everything room to breathe. Click any swatch to copy its hex.

Primary The three colors that carry the brand. Every asset uses at least two of these.
Secondary Tonal variants. Used for states, depth, and soft gradients.
Utility Text hierarchy + status. System roles only, never for branding moments.
02 · Logo

The mark.

The logomark is a jersey-stripe "0", a competition number, not an O. It signals the offseason: the moment your group wants to predict something together. Offseason is prediction pools for anything your friends argue about.

Offseason logomark
Keep clear space
At least 25% of the mark's width on every side. No other elements in that zone.
Use on cream or navy only
Backgrounds: #FAFAFA, #F4F4F5, #1B2D4F, or photos with >60% contrast on the mark.
Scale proportionally
Always preserve the 1:1 square aspect. Minimum size 32px for digital, 12mm for print.
Don't recolor or invert
The salmon-over-navy pairing IS the identity. No orange, red, or grayscale variants.
Don't stretch, skew, or rotate
The mark already has a built-in 8° skew. Any further transformation breaks it.
Don't pair with other marks
Never lock-up with partners. If co-branding, sit the other logo 2× mark-width away.

One template. Every competition.

The same share card, tuned for whichever tournament we're pooling around. Paper, bloom, jersey stripes, wordmark, the giant 0, all locked. The only thing that changes is the faint field markings drawn under the wordmark at stroke-opacity 0.07: pitch, gridiron, court, rink, gate, circuit. Discoverable on a close look, invisible at a glance.

Drop-in compatible with the shipped og-image.svg, same 1200×630 viewBox, same type hierarchy. Swap the file for a competition-specific card without touching meta tags.

07 · Voice

How we sound.

Write like a smart friend who runs a league, direct, specific, allergic to marketing-speak. We're confident without being cocky, warm without being precious.

Direct, not dry
Say the thing. "Everyone's got a take. Pool it." Not "reimagine the way your cohort engages with prediction content."
Specific, not generic
"Your league. Your commish. Your pools." Concrete nouns beat adjectives every time.
Group-chat energy
We sound like the person in the group chat with the hottest take. "Call it", "settle it", "see who's actually right." Never "event", "contest", or "engagement."
Lowercase by default
Sentence case in UI. Title case only for proper nouns and formal section headers. Nothing SHOUTED unless it's the wordmark.
"pickem", one word, no apostrophe
Always "pickem" / "pickems". Never "pick'em", "pick-em", or "pick 'em". The unit people play is a "pool".
No money, just receipts
We never talk odds, betting, or money at stake. It's bragging rights and "receipts", the paper on who called it. Numbers over adjectives: scoreboard voice beats hype.
08 · Brief for AI agents

# Offseason, Brand Brief (for AI-assisted social)

## What we are
Offseason is a free prediction game you play in shared "pools" with your friends. Everyone's got a take, so you pool it. A league adds the pools it cares about (the World Cup, the Oscars, the Derby, an NBA title race, even reality TV), everyone makes their calls, and live standings plus a built-in group chat show who's actually right. No money, just receipts (bragging rights). Slogan: "Everyone's got a take. Pool it." The World Cup is ONE example, never THE product. Built by a commish, for the groups that actually play. Not for broadcast audiences, not a sportsbook, not a betting app.

## Positioning
- Hook / slogan: "Everyone's got a take. Pool it." (short form: "Everyone's got a take.")
- Descriptor: "The prediction game for you and your friends." Nav subtitle: "Prediction Pools".
- Pillars: predict anything (sports / awards / pop-culture) · with your group · shared pools + group chat · live consensus & standings · no money, just receipts.
- Recurring lines: "See who's actually right." · "Get your group in." · "No money, just receipts." · "Settle it." · "Keep your receipts."

## Name & typography
- Always "Offseason" (one word, capital O).
- Wordmark: OFFSEASON in Inter Tight 900, letter-spacing -0.03em.
- Type system: Inter Tight (display), Inter (body), JetBrains Mono (meta/labels).

## Logo rules
- The mark is a pink "0" on navy jersey stripes, a soccer number, not the letter O.
- Clear space: 25% of mark width on all sides.
- Allowed backgrounds: cream #FAFAFA, panel #F4F4F5, navy #1B2D4F, or photos with >60% contrast.
- Never recolor, invert, grayscale, rotate, skew, or stretch. The built-in 8° skew is final.
- Minimum 32px digital / 12mm print.

## Colors (use only these)
- Coral #F59C9C, primary brand, CTAs, accents, hero moments
- Coral Light #FAB5B5, hover, soft gradient bloom
- Coral Deep #E07676, pressed, focused accents
- Navy #1B2D4F, text, stripes, dark surfaces, structural lines
- Navy Light #2A3F66, secondary dark surface, hover on dark
- Cream #FAFAFA, primary light background
- Panel #F4F4F5, inset cards, panels
- Ink #18181B, body text on light
- Slate #52525B, secondary copy
- Mute #A1A1AA, meta, captions
- Success #059669, Live #EF4444, status only

Do not introduce orange, red-red (other than Live), yellow, purple, or any off-palette color. No gradients except salmon→salmon-deep or the paper cream→panel fade.

## Voice
- Direct, not dry. Say the thing. No marketing abstraction.
- Specific, not generic. Concrete nouns beat adjectives.
- Group-chat energy. "Call it", "settle it", "see who's actually right", "pool it". Never "event", "contest", or "engagement."
- Sentence case in UI. Title case only for proper nouns and formal headers.
- Nothing shouted unless it's the wordmark.
- "pickem", one word, no apostrophe. Never "pick'em", "pick-em", or "pick 'em." The thing you play is a "pool".
- No em-dashes anywhere in copy. Use commas, periods, or parentheses. En-dashes in ranges are fine.
- Numbers over adjectives. Scoreboard voice beats hype.
- Confident, not cocky. Warm, not precious.

## What we don't say
- Do not use: "engage", "leverage", "seamless", "revolutionize", "game-changer", "disrupt", "immersive", "ecosystem".
- Do not use emoji to decorate. One purposeful emoji per post max.
- Do not hashtag-spam. Two hashtags max. Prefer none.
- Do not reference betting, gambling, wagers, odds, or money at stake.
- Do not claim we're "AI-powered." We're not.

## What we do post
- Pool drops, a new pickem is live (World Cup, Oscars, the Derby, a title race), with the headline call and lock date.
- Consensus spotlights, one number, one line of context ("41% of the pool has Sinner"), on a clean backdrop.
- Receipts, a shareable receipt-card of someone's calls (right and wrong), the "no money, just receipts" motif.
- Results quips, a settled call + a one-line observation.
- Commish content, tips, league-running advice, commish-life moments.
- Product moments, launches, new features, milestones.
- User-facing moments, screenshots, shared picks, a member's receipt with permission.

## Templates available
Use the downloadable backdrops. Do NOT generate new backdrops:
- backdrop-pitch-square.png (1080×1080), charts, data, general
- backdrop-pitch-story.png (1080×1920), story version
- backdrop-photo-square.png (1080×1080), frame for selfies/photos
- backdrop-stat-square.png (1080×1080), stat spotlight, editable in SVG

- x-header.png (1500×500), og-image.png (1200×630), linkedin-banner.png (1584×396)

## Formatting cues
- Wordmark on every asset, bottom or corner. Never larger than 40% of shortest edge.
- Pink underbar beneath OFFSEASON wordmark is canonical. 5–8px thick, 25–40% of wordmark width.
- Pitch markings at 6–10% opacity only. Never solid.
- Jersey stripes only in corners (top-left navy, bottom-right salmon echo). Never central.
- "0" mark may appear as a ghosted hero element. Always skewX(-8°).

## When in doubt
Err cream. Err spaced-out. Err specific.
Ask: "Would a commish text this to their group chat?" If no, rewrite.
