Built by a commish
Free tools for your Yahoo fantasy league. And when the season ends, the Offseason begins. This is where it came from, what we believe, and how to reach us.
The origin story
Offseason comes from a fantasy football commissioner who has run the same league since college. Every January the same thing happened: the season ended, the chat went quiet, and the league went into hibernation until August. But the appetite never left. Every March somebody wanted a bracket. Every February somebody swore they'd called the Oscars. Every summer there was a dumb argument worth putting on the record, and nowhere to put it.
Nothing out there kept the league together in between. The big apps are built for a broadcast audience, not for the ten people who actually play together. So he built the thing that does.
Here's how it works now: connect your Yahoo fantasy league, read-only, and the whole toolkit lights up. Mock drafts against personas built from your actual leaguemates. A trade machine that grades any deal before you send it. Keeper math, waiver receipts, and the record book your league never had, champions, last places, rivalries, draft grades. It's free, all of it, for everyone in the league. And when the fantasy season ends, the Offseason begins.
What we believe
- Built for the group. You're competing alongside people you know, not against a faceless global leaderboard.
- The commish does less, not more. One connection, one invite link, and the toolkit is live for everybody. Running a league should take a tap, not a spreadsheet.
- Show the work. Every number traces back to your league's own settled seasons, not a generic average. A tool nobody can check is just an opinion.
- Every member gets everything. One experience, no premium tier, and everyone in your league has the whole toolkit.
- No money, ever. Nothing to deposit, nothing to win but standings and receipts. That's what keeps it fun, and keeps everyone playing.
- Your data is yours. We run the platform; your leagues, picks, and history belong to you. Delete your account and it's gone.
- Year-round, not one weekend. The toolkit carries the fall. Later this season, year-round competitions your league picks carry the rest of it. One league, all year.
Why "Offseason"
The name is the whole idea. Fantasy football lives for the fall, but the league lives in the group chat, and the group chat doesn't take January off. The stretch between drafts is the offseason, and it's exactly when somebody asks "can we do a bracket for this?" and nobody has a good answer.
That stretch used to be where leagues went to die. Now it's where the league lives. The season ends. The league doesn't.
Independent and unaffiliated
Offseason is an independent app made by fans. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fantasy platform, league, federation, awards body, broadcaster, or other rights holder of the events you can play here. Names, logos, and other references are used for editorial identification under fair use.
Privacy first
You'll need an email and a password. That's how your picks stay yours across devices and how your commish can find you. Beyond that, the rule is simple: your data is yours. We don't sell it, and we don't share it outside your own league. Delete your account and it's gone.
The full breakdown of what we collect, how it's used, and how to delete it all is in our privacy policy.
