Built by a commish, for the groups that actually play together.
Offseason is the prediction game for the people in your group chat. Everyone's got a take, so you pool it. Start a private league, add the pools you care about (the World Cup, Wimbledon, the Oscars, the Derby, even reality TV), and make your calls. Live standings, the running consensus on every question, and a chat for every pool. No money, just bragging rights.
It's the app we wish existed every time we tried to run a pickem pool with friends. The other options felt like they were built for a broadcast audience, not for the group that actually plays together. This one's built for the league, start to finish.
We run fantasy football leagues every year. When the World Cup rolls around, or March Madness, or the Oscars, or some dumb group-chat bet, we want to do the same thing: predict, talk trash, compete for bragging rights. The existing tools never quite fit. They were built for the broadcast experience, not for a group playing against each other.
So we built the version we wanted. Make an account in 15 seconds, make your picks, compete with your league. Clean, focused, made for the people already in your group chat.
Sports apps should respect the people using them. We hold ourselves to a few ideas:
The name comes from a simple idea. Some of the best sports moments (World Cups, major tournaments, big international events) happen when your regular fantasy leagues are dormant. The offseason. Those are the moments your league shows up in the group chat asking "can we do a pickem for this?" and nobody has a good answer.
The World Cup is where we started, the tournament that deserves a clean pickem more than any event on the calendar. But Offseason is built for everything your group wants to call, all year round. New pools drop all the time. One league, every pool, same friends.
Your group could be anywhere, so Offseason ships in the languages they actually speak. The app and this website are localized to English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, and Arabic. It auto-detects from your device and is switchable anytime in the footer or in the app's profile screen. Right-to-left languages flip the layout cleanly. We'll add more languages as the community grows.
You'll need an email and password. That's how your picks stay yours across devices, and how your league commish can find you. Beyond that, the rule is simple: your data is yours. We run the platform. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it outside of your own league. Delete your account and it's gone.
The full breakdown of what we collect, how it's used, and how to delete it all is in our Privacy Policy.
Offseason is an independent app made by fans. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, federation, awards body, broadcaster, or other rights holder of the events you can predict here. Names, logos, and other references are used for editorial identification under fair use.
We read every email. If you want to suggest a feature, report a bug, ask a question, share a wild prediction, or just say hi, write us at hello@offseason.org. For support questions there's also our help page.
Offseason is live on iOS, iPad, and the web. Make a league in under a minute.
